Nepenthe (He who Seeks)

You are a perfect flaw, beauty in mind and the proud straight back that you carry
Let a hungry grief spell the name in the sand, the hungry tide wash it away
Imperfect brilliance brought out in the open, who would have known
That with each black and tarnished step a reflection of clear light shines through
Be perfectly mad and starved, I will still carry your name close to my marked skin
I am not the falling star, I am the moonless night bringing the light out
